Abandoned Ohio photography & Urban Exploration

The Republic Rubber Co. is located on Albert street in Youngstown Ohio. I found little info about this place. All I know is the company was founded sometime in the early 30's. The company use to produce all kinds of rubber products, from hoses to tires. They were later bought out by Goodyear. My dad told me the company closed sometime in the early 70's but on my last visit there I saw a calendar from 1990 hanging in one of the offices. I last visited the rubber co. in October ’07 to find out that most of the buildings are being torn down due to drug dealing done on the grounds.
