The Ridges are a group of buildings near the Ohio University campus. The Ridges just aren't your ordinary buildings. The consist of the Asylum, Tuberculosis Ward , and many more renovated buildings. The old Asylum is a huge complex that was built in the 1860's and is now partly used by OU as a Art museum. Most of the other buildings in The Ridges are renovated, except one . . . the Tuberculosis building. The building sits on a hill away from the other buildings. I had no plans on going inside the building, mainly because it was posted on the net that it is tightly boarded up. I found that to be false on the day I visited. A gate had been bent so it was easy to crawl through. I was in the building for about an hour, snapped some shots then got the hell out of there.
